3 Things Lightworkers Must Do Everyday

Whether you realize it or not, human kind is going through a spiritual evolution. Look around you. Look within. All of this is going on, but for what purpose? Many of these issues have unearthed questions of ethics and truth that we all deserve the answers to. As a light worker, your mission is to bring light to this world. Sounds like a simple task right? Sorry to break it to you, but the life of a light worker encompasses all phases of life intensely. Most, if not all, light workers are also empaths. We feel everything even though we are not experiencing it ourselves in the present moment. Knowing this, it's easy to get caught up in our own heads, in the lives of people around us, in the state of Mother Earth, etc; which leads to subconscious life choices. So, as a light worker, how do you live on purpose? Here are three tips that have helped me along my journey:

Upon waking, meditate. The first few minutes of the morning set the tone of your day, so how're you going to spend them (think, time=currency)? Before baby, this was a breeze for me. Actually when I first awakened in my high school years, I would meditate twice or thrice a day! But now with a family, I had to adjust time for self care. Wake up earlier than usual to meditate before the day begins. What exactly am I meditating on? The options are endless! However, I find it very effective to visualize the blueprint for your day. Map it out! Are you going to greet others with a smile? How's your inner dialogue for the day? How productive are you going to be? Blueprint all the details of the day.

Nourish your soul with soul food. Say there are two cars. One car is filled with the grade of fuel necessary and top grade oil for the engine. The other car is filled with whatever fuel is available at the moment and the cheapest oil on the market. Which car is going to last longer? We are energetic beings to the core, from the cells in our body to the aura that surrounds the body. Fruits, veggies, and sea greens are the most nutrient-dense foods on the plants, offering clean energy for our bodies. Increase your intake! The FDA recommends 4.5 cups of fruits and veggies daily. If you want to life optimally, strive for 5 to 8 servings a day. Invest in a blender and make smoothies at home to get your daily fruit and veggie intake. Smoothies have saved my life, quite literally. My dad is the chief smoothie maker at home, blending and juicing since 2006. Serve fruit as dessert. Have fruit salads readily available as a snack. Cut your veggies so it's easily accessible.

Move to live. Since the beginning of our existence, human kind as always been on the move. Well, except recently. According to the World Health Organization, 65-80% of the global population doesn't meet the recommended physical activity quota. Coined the "sitting disease," it is now the fourth leading risk factor for global mortality. If you have a desk job, consider switching the standard chair for an exercise ball. Take 10 minute breaks in 30 - 40 minute intervals if you're sitting down for long periods of time (set a timer on your phone!). Exercise for at least an hour a day, three times out of the week. Keep your muscles guessing and mix it up between muscle building, aerobic, and bone building exercises. Track how many steps you are taking in a day; even better, create step challenges with your friends!

These three tips are basic but are fundamental to the quality of your life. Coincidentally, these tips will assist in raising your vibration. We are all birthed into the world with a gift(s). Think about your gift(s) for a moment: what are they and how do you tap into them? You came with inner knowledge and inner guidance that you first need to trust. Doubt and fear may creep in to attempt to squander the light within your heart. The light that burns within the core of your soul that has traveled many a lifetime burns for eternity. You and the light are one, traveling with determination and ambition. As human kind evolves and Mother Earth transforms, how bright will the collective light shine? It is up to us, to live within and without the heart chakra, to live in truth and justice, and to live brightly in our inner world and the outer worlds.
